Greg first started boxing in 1998 and it was love at first punch. He was trained by two Bay Area boxing legends: California Hall of Famer, and formerly ranked #1 Light Welterweight in the world, Andy Nance and the well-respected Ben Bautista.

Greg had nearly 50 amateur bouts and has competed in all the big amateur tournaments including Golden Gloves, National PAL, and US Nationals.

He has also been hired to spar with both National and World Champions here in the Bay Area. In 2011 Greg decided to hang up the gloves and began his career in coaching and personal training. He is a Licensed USA Boxing Coach as well as a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
